At-Home Lifestyle Session With Grandparents

When the grandparents come and visit, it is the PERFECT opportunity for a family photo session!   We can even make it easy and have an at-home lifestyle session with grandparents!  Everyone can just chill in their own space and leave me to create images that will be appreciated for generations :) 

It’s lovely to get images of grandchildren with their gran and grandad.  And yet, it’s often forgotten.  Everyone assumes there’ll be a tomorrow, or thinks they’ll get that photo the next time gran’s in town.  There might not be a next time though, next time you get everyone together, please make sure to have the occasion photographed!  

I absolutely LOVED the outfits the beautiful mom chose for this session.  She kept the kids’ clothes distraction-free, simple and timeless.  Just gorgeous and perfect for photographs!

Lifestyle session in Sigtuna

Hey, you!  How is your summer going?  Hope you’re having a good one!  Today has been my first chance to blog in almost two months!!  To say my life has been intense lately would be a MASSIVE understatement.  I won’t bore you with the details though, I’ll just share some of the work I’ve been creating this summer (and there’s been a LOT!)…. This lifestyle session in Sigtuna was a DREAM in so many ways!  The mom commissioned me to create some beautiful portraits of her daughter who had just turned 10.  She wanted me to include the stunning garden as a backdrop to the portraits and, boy oh boy, did everything come together perfectly for this session!   The kind of photo session photography dreams is made of.  Just bliss…

RELAXED AT-HOME LIFESTYLE PHOTO SESSION

Apologies for the radio silence here on the Jolly blog!  It’s been an INTENSE month for me, to say the least, in every way!   I have so many images to share from all my client sessions, but first I want to share this happy, relaxed at-home lifestyle photo session from last month.  It was my second time photographing this chilled and happy family.  Such charming and sweet boys, I love them! :)

We started the session in their home and then moved outside, where the boys showed me their favourite corner of the garden, and they had fun playing with sticks.  I really LOVE photographing children like this, just doing their own thing, using their imagination, and playing naturally.  Just imagine, in 30 years’ time, when these boys are all grown up and living their own lives, how cool it will be to look back at these photographs, how the memories will come flooding back! :)

Relaxed Lifestyle Family Session | Stockholm Lifestyle Photographer

Apologies for the radio silence around here… I took a break from social media for a few weeks. There is more to life after all, right? ;)

When someone gets in touch and tells me they want to book a relaxed lifestyle session at home with their gorgeous twin boys, as the kids’ grandparents are going to be in town for a few days, I start packing my camera bag! Grandparents and grandchildren were finally reunited after a long time apart. The grandparents patiently played with their happy-go-lucky grandchildren and I had the honour of documenting it all. The boys had a lot of energy to burn off, so we made a quick trip to a nearby park and captured some more priceless family photographs.
