Winter Wonderland Family Session

Greetings! As we’re still in the depths of winter here in Sweden, I thought you would appreciate seeing this winter wonderland family session from a couple of weeks ago! It was just before sunset and very cold, so I worked as fast as possible and did my best to keep the energy high. Snow sessions are shorter than my regular outdoor sessions (you don’t want little fingers and toes getting cold!), and I advise everyone to wear several layers, thick socks, warm boots, etc. and maybe have hot drinks to hand to keep everyone toasty.

I know we are still in autumn (isn’t it beautiful out there?), but now is the time to book your winter snow photo session! How does this work? You mail me at sandra@sandrajolly.com, I send you a style guide with lots of examples of what to wear on a winter session, we wait for the snow to arrive, then lock in the date and time. Easy!

Winter sessions are fast and fun and are surely a must for anyone living in a country where snow is a part of your life every year! I have one client who had a summer family session, and then the following year she decided she needed winter portraits, too. She now has a home filled with beautiful summer and winter portraits! :)
