This is what I want for you… I want you to have beautiful, timeless portraits of you and your loved ones. If you have a husband/wife/mother/father/child/grandparent/best friend, then you should have a printed portrait of them that you can look at whenever you want. Simple portraits have a quiet power that I, for one, am always drawn to. When I am creating this kind of image, I like an uncluttered space, simple clothes, and indirect light. Once that person is then in front of my camera, it’s ‘just’ a matter of connection.
I feel that these kinds of portraits will always stand the test of time. There are no gimmicks, no trendy clothes, no distracting elements, just the willing soul looking into my lens, helping me create an image that will make you stop and look.
